Will there be events scheduled for Sunday the 18th? I need to know so I
can plan my arrival. If there will be activities on Sunday then I would
need to arrive on Saturday. If nothing is on for Sunday then I would
arrive on Sunday. Saves the cost of a room for Saturday. (the most
expensive night).

Yes, a reasonably-full schedule is planned for Sunday.

There will be things going on all day Sunday, but the first
major get-together, the Welcome Celebration will be on
Monday.
