It should be perfectly safe at 5:00pm.

If you're uneasy, I'll be glad to walk you (or anyone else) to your car when you leave. The Bistro will be well-attended all evening, so there will be no concerns about being in a dark and lonely area. IIRC, there's parking in the rear which should be perfectly safe. You shouldn't need to park on the street.

Tapas are $5-13,soup & salad $7-15,pizza $9-12,sliders & sandwiches $6-13 and entrees $15-30.Some of the choices are vegan and gluten free .I feel safer by the Arts Factory than by the commercial center on Sahara.The parking lot is behind the Arts Factory off Charleston and Casino Center Blvd.

Yes, I don't feel all that great in Commercial Center either, especially towards the south end of it, near Karen. I guess it depends on what you get used to. In any case, I will try to make it during the daylight hours and see how things develop as darkness approaches.
