In Vegas Dec 1, 2, Where to go?

It's not only TG people who want to avoid these types. On the Las Vegas chat boards, it's frequently noted that the oh-so-hip 20-something jerks tend to hang out at certain casinos and for the most part stay clear of others. Some (but not all) of their major hangouts tend to be the places that host those velvet rope clubs that the 20-something crowd loves.

Casino-hotels that are frequently mentioned has having crowds of 20-something "d-bags" are places such as Hard Rock, Palms, Planet Hollywood, and lately Cosmopolitan.

Paris, Bally's, Flamingo, and Harrah's are seldom if ever mentioned as "d-bag" hangouts.

Palms has kind of an unusual business model. On the weekdays they cater to local video poker fans of middle age or older. On the weekend they are very popular with the El-Lay twentybopper party crowd.

thanks for the topic, Terry. I will be visiting Las Vegas for the 1st time too and read this thread with interest. My trip is midweek March 11&12. I would like your opinion on the comments above....was Paris the place to be? did it feel OK to be out & about? was the make-over session great? good? (PS this is an informative site for info - thanks to the organizers! sorry I'll miss the DLV at months end - I'll schedule better next time)
