Some would say that we (the TG community) happen to be the red-headed
stepchild of the GLB(T) movement, and in years past I might agree. As
late as the early 1990s I definitely recall some "we're not really them
and they're not really us" attitude.

I distinctly recall, during the 1970s, efforts of some in the TG
community to distance the TG movement from the gay community.

However, in the recent decade the inclusion of "T" in the alphabet soup
is far more the rule than the exception. There are many common issues
and common concerns between all of the subgroups in such soup.

I do admit that there still appears to be a certain degree of anti-TG
WAB/WBW bias amongst some in the lesbian community but that seems to
have subsided over the past few years.

Intolerance is sooooooo 20th century!

To be considered part of a group so long with the extreme effort to
separate myself from the pants wearing group to the dress dawning group,
I would think I would consider myself rid of trying to be a part of any
group at all and just be me.

This then might be the reason for the reluctance to the LGBT thing on
the whole. I love having women friends and having them considering me
as an equal to them in a daily life that makes no question to who I am
other than just me the woman I am.........

I wish I could figure out where on the continuum bridge I belong. I have
been running back and forth so much my legs are getting tired, maybe
I'll switch from heels to flats, LOL. I guess my feminine
characteristics have me continuously changing my mind (straight, bi,
etc). So far I haven't made a choice yet and furthered my ventures and
curiosities, but I remain open minded for the time being.

Love to all . I missed DLV last year due to a lack of funds, I have been
off work due to an injury since July of 2010, I am scheduled to return
in January or February of 2012. Funds permitting I will make it ans
celebrate my first DLV outing. If any persons from the group live in the
LA, CA area, and want to chat or meet, contact me at
katherine1951@ca.rr.com. I have 1 grown son and a grandson living with
me, they are not aware of my dressing, so I can't host.

hope to hear from any and all.

Love and keep up the great postings everyone, Happy Holidays.

Yeah, and most of the Lesbian girls will not even consider a
relationship with a Lesbian TG. I guess they feel we are tooooo feminine
for them (ha-ha)(<- predecessor to LOL)

Hi all,

I just gotta comment on this, I too would not dare consider a relation
with a lesbian, much less a GG, either as Cynthia or Chuck. It just
completely cuts against the grain of my absolute homoerotic tendancy.

As near as I can tell, most lesbians feel this way about straight males
and gay males too. I love socializing with GG and lesbian girls in
either modality, but if it leads to anything more, I prefer my own sex,
and preferably in a dress. I'm still working on this though and I
wouldn't have even dared make such a daring disclosure even a scant year
ago - too guilt ridden, too much angst and anxiety.

This is the avenue I'm on now and how so very good the whole genre feels
for me, thanks to Diva of course, too, and the chat line.

What a great opportunity to open up to myself and others like me; to
discover myself and learn to be comfortable with myself. Last Diva I
suffered horribly because of my unfamiliarity with CDTGing, having only
been out in dress since Diva 2110 - my first out ever. I don't intend to
suffer again with it next time and am working like a slave to catch up
with my group, to be socially as well as psychicly adjusted. I now know
the direction in headed in and that I'm on course.

As my uncertainty and confusion fade into the background, I'm becoming
more confident in that. It looks easy from the object, I love the art of
female illusion; inside muy head is another matter however, and it's
taken a long and forceful effort to get to the bottom of that little
matter. I'm coming out of the fog though and now know where I want to go
with my new life.
