LOL, don't forget Frank "Lefty" Rosenthal, Hymie Goldbaum, Allen Glick, and Moe Kleinman over at the pre-Boyd Stardust.
Most of those guys were notorious hoods who pulled off a very clever skimming operation right under the nose of the Gaming Commission. I think the most ingenious stunt they pulled was the cashiers' booth which "did not exist" officially.
Rosenthal is still around, freelancing as a "gaming consultant" out of Florida (http://www.frankrosenthal.com/) although he's banned for life from Nevada casinos. He and Glick got spanked hard by the Gaming Commission in the early 1980s when they finally got enough on them to shut them down!
