Happy Holidays:

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, and Happy New Year from the organizers
and volunteers of Diva Las Vegas!

This will be the final general mailing of the 2023 calendar year, as our
volunteers will be taking a break from planning over the holiday season.

We plan to announce the dates for Diva Las Vegas 2024 within the first
quarter of 2024.

All people who volunteered to help out with DLV should have received an
introductory message to the Volunteer Group, as well as this week's
volunteer mailing last Wednesday.

If you answered the Call For Volunteers and did not receive those
mailings, please let us know. Just reply to this mailing.

Thanks to all who responded to the requests to verify attendance.

Our final attendance total for DLV 2023 will be 113 assuming no more
stragglers report in.

We heard you:

One over-riding theme expressed in the answers and the written comments
of our 2023 Attendee Survey (see below) had to do with the increased
expense of a vacation in Las Vegas.

One priority that we will have in the planning of the 2024 DLV event
will be to take the steps that we can to assure that the event is
affordable to as many attendees as is possible.

This is not to say that we can't have such things as a high-end
steakhouse, a limo tour, or a top tier show on our schedule, for those
who want them. We just need to be sure that more affordable options are
in place on our upcoming schedule.

We do not wish to price anybody out of attending and participating!

Our Call For Photos will remain open through December of 2023.

staging area, please write in and let us know. Just reply to this
mailing.

All photo removal requests received as of Friday, December 8, have been
processed.

As of this mailing, not all received photos have been placed in the
staging areas.

The photo staging area will remain open for review until January 15.

DLV 2023 survey reports:

Our DLV 2023 Attendee Survey concluded last weekend and the reports
are now on line for all to view.

The first report contains the results of the objective portion of the
survey and is on line here:

The second report contains the written comments in all categories and is

Included in the items of particular notes is the enjoyment rating of
our second major gathering, held this year at Virgil's BBQ.

+Farewell activities, Virgils, Thursday: 4.92 (27 responses)

To have an enjoyment score of higher than 4.9 (1-5 scale) for an
activity which has this many responses is truly exceptional! This
appears to be the highest enjoyment score of any major gathering in our
history!

The enjoyment score at our first major gathering at Bahama Breese was
also good, despite the issues reported with the service this year.

+Welcome activities, Bahama Breeze, Tuesday: 4.46 (39 responses)

The issue of slow service has been reported to the BB management and
one of our senior volunteers will be following up with the BB team as
we plan for DLV 2024.

Four activities of significance scored a perfect 5.0 on the enjoyment
scale this year.

+Carmine's HH and dinner, Wednesday, October 25: 5.0 (7 responses)
+Pickleball, Plaza, Wednesday, October 25: 5.0 (6 responses)
+Off The Strip dining, Friday, October 27: 5.0 (6 responses)
+Tilted Kilt dining, Friday, October 27: 5.0 (5 responses)

The overall average enjoyment score for all activities which made up
Diva Las Vegas 2023 was 4.45.

This is very good and reflects the enjoyment level of the event as a
whole.
