Hi JoAnne!

Big hug sis! You betcha! DLV is the class of the lot! Get yourself a Big
Sister, and you will be off and running!

Get plenty of sleep before you come because you will have so much fun
you will not want to sleep while you are there!

Hi there,

DLV is a great place to start out and about. You will meet some AB FAB
sisters and others. I don't know if you have ever been out of the hotel
room, so to speak, but there is a place for all.....beit simply GLBT
friendly establishments or going out full mainstream public.Whatever
you feel comfortable with. I would urge you to check out the DLV
website (www.geekbabe.com/dlv) to read abo ut the past DLV's and other's
personal experiences. I also have a small write-up at my website
(www.leggitv.com) on my first DLV (DLV 2001) and I'll tell ya,
attending DLV changed my life for the positive.

DLV is not a 'typical transgendered convention', it is a transgendered
vacation! There are no speakers or no seminars. Just a group of
transgendered sisters getting together for fun and sisterhood! And
believe me, you will meet some wonderful and AB FAB sisters and SO's!

I was also a DLV co-organizer for DLV'02 and DLV'03, so I can tell you
that DLV is an AB FAB time! DLV also has a Big Sister program, so be
sure to check that out as well.

There is no better place to go out, even for the first time, than the DLV.

It is the friendliest, most helpful get together you will find anyplace.

As Tootsye suggested, when you register, request a Big Sister. If you
have any questions about the Big sister or have specific requests please
contact me directly and I will be more than happy to help. I am one of
the CO-directors of the big sister Program and would be more than happy
to discuss your interests and concerns.
