This Activity Highlight covers the DLV 2016 Newcomer Welcome and
Orientation, which will be held beginning promptly at 5:00pm on Monday,
March 28th.

As the name suggests, this activity is intended for those who have never
attended Diva Las Vegas before, and we're strongly encouraging all who
have never previously experienced a DLV event to please make every
effort to attend.

We're particularly encouraging those who "might not think they need it"
to attend, such as those who have attended other TG events, those who
are local residents, those who have been "out" many years, etc.

In addition to those who have never attended, we're also inviting those
who first attended in recent years but missed the Newcomer Orientation
their first year, and those who have previously attended, but not in any
recent years.

The Newcomer Welcome and Orientation will be held at the Bahama Breeze
restaurant, which is the same facility as will be used for the
subsequent Monday evening welcome activities. This is at the corner of
Paradise Road and Flamingo Road, and a map and directions will be
included in the Final Attendee Information next week.

There is no charge to attend, "No sign-up, just show up", and beverages
(both potent and placebo) will be available.

This will be your official welcome to our event, and will be host(ess)ed
by Vera, Katie, and Delaney, each with over 10 years of DLV experience.

We'll be presenting some important information about our program,
reviewing some of the high points of the week to come, addressing some
of the common difficulties and misunderstandings, and addressing any
questions and concerns that you may have.

We'll also introduce you to some of the others, and then adjourn to the
subsequent Happy Hour, at which you will be able to meet more of the
group.

As for dress for the New Attendee Welcome and Orientation, it's really
up to you and how you are comfortable. Casual to formal, boymode or
girlmode. You can "dress to the twos or dress to the nines" if you wish.
Many will be dressing up for our welcome evening, so if you want to
dress up a bit (or a lot) please feel free to do so. No costumes, slutty
or fetish outfits, or face masks please.

After Happy Hour we'll have our Get-Acquainted Dinner followed by the
mixer portion of the evening and our official group photo (posing is
optional).

For dinner, the full regular menu will be available and they feature
Caribbean and American cuisine at moderate prices. Separate checks will
be available.

We'll wind up the evening with Dancing At Paris.

We hope to see everyone who is new for 2016 at this activity, which will
begin promptly at 5:00pm on Monday of DLV week.
