Annie,

Yet another DLV comes and I am unable to make it. I am impressed at how
well you have kept things going. Please have fun this year. My hopes are
with everyone that attends and I wish I would be part of it.

Two things, drink a Galiano for me and tell everyone who Densie was.,
and what she meant to DLV. I love you all and hope that everything is
wonderful for the crew next week.

For those who don't know who is speaking here, Margeth is one of the original five who was with us in the very first year for the very first DLV, back in 1997.

Thanks, Margeth. I had no clue, just as you, that what we were doing back in 1997 would have grown into what it has become today. Yes, we sure wish you could be with us this year.

Well, if somebody slips it to me unexpectedly, I guess I will drink it.

For those who don't know who "Densie" was, she was one whose history with DLV goes way back into the early years. She was a dear friend of many of us who unfortunately left us unexpectedly in 2012.

Yes, she was one who was responsible for several items of DLV lore, including being partly responsible for the Galiano [sic] legend.

I remember the DLV's in the early years with you there, brightening the
place(s) with your smile. So sorry you won't be able to attend again.
