Peppermill

Postby lauraandlaura » Thu May 02, 2013 3:16 pm

Was just wondering if DLV has ever done an event at the Peppermill? It's a super cool swanky place on the north end of the strip. I had to arrange a wedding reception there about 5 years ago and management seemed reasonable. (unfortunately the bride had more upscale tastes and the reception was moved). Anyway I have visited the Pepermill many times and it seems like the sort of place that would want our people. Just a thought if we are looking to move away from the Artisan.

I went to the Peppermill in drab, loved the place. They have a cool
lounge, the waitresses were great, I was sorry i hadn't gone dressed. My
wife liked it too. the front is a typical New York Style Greek Dinner,
but you gals would love the lounge...LOTS OF MIRRORS!!!!!

Sincerely

Sounds like we should check it out. I vote yes if it comes up for a vote.

You're probably thinking of the time so many years ago when a group of us bailed from the then-perennial fizzle-out final evening and went to the Peppermill.

IIRC the only seats available were right by the fire (they still had it on a warm evening in late April) so we wandered on somewhere else.

I've been there off and on over the years, both to the restaurant and the lounge. In my not so humble opinion, both are worthy of consideration, but may be a bit scary for those newly-out. The restaurant has HUGE portions!

That sounds about right. Of course back then MCOABs was my standard
operating system.
