Hey, y'all!

Last week, the Georgia High School Association took what it called a
proactive step toward addressing the issue of transgender
student-athletes participating in high school sports.

There have been at least four states that recently have adopted policies
that provide an avenue for high school student-athletes to participate
in boys or girls sports depending on their gender identification. The
NCAA and the International Olympic Committee also have policies that
make it possible for transgendered athletes to participate depending on
gender identification.

The Georgia High School Association's ''proactive'' move to deal with
this issue was this: 6. Amend

BY-LAW 1.47 [ADD AT THE END]: "A student's gender is determined by the
gender noted on his/her certificate at birth." MOTION PASSED
(unanimously)

We're looking for any trans folks who are current or former student
athletes who might be willing to speak on the topic. THIS IS TIME
SENSITIVE and we need to hear from you today or by tomorrow morning.

Please email jamie at abfab3k@gmail.com or call me at 404-583-6423.

Thanks!, Jaime

Sincerely

Vickie Stone
