Help FROM a local...

Postby Ami » Sat Apr 06, 2013 4:06 am

Ladies, I am a 38 y/o pre-op living FT in Las Vegas... except at work. I moved to Las Vegas from Florida in December. Please respond here or contact me if you need a local's help with: Nails - Wigs - Transportation - Hotels/Roommates, or any other info I might be able to provide.

Today was my payday. I got the BEST full set ever (first time in a year, $20,) I got a new wig ($29) and had the best day off in a long time, even though I lost my wallet. Point being, is that this is the greatest city in the world and you WILL enjoy yourself!

Like I said, I invite you to call me or text me at 702-530-2305 if you have any questions. That's my google number so you'll have to leave your name but I always answer, if you're calling.

Via email or yahoo messenger, i'm at ami30fl@yahoo.com

Side note...this girl (me) just really came out of her shell and she's going to be in this world, no matter what anyone thinks. I love helping others. I guess that's why I'm a waitress.

If you (or anyone) know of any resources that we don't, please consider adding them to our Big List of merchants and vendors in the Las Vegas area. This is the most "hit on" page on the DLV web site and is well-indexed by all of the major search engines. It's on line here:

The link to add a new vendor is right above the beginning of the actual merchant listing.

Have been living in LV since Feb 1 practicing for Diva. Just a few suggestions for before, after or in-between Diva.

There is a terrific band in the lounge at Tucany. Corro Van Such plays Tues - Sat 8:30 to 12:30 in the lounge in the hotel (not the Casino). Thurs night is open mic and usually crowded, otherwise not. Dress is very causal to quite (mainstream) dressy. No cover, drinks cheap for LV. The restaurant is also very good.

Go east on Flamingo from Tuscany to Maryland. Turn right on Maryland and about two doors up is Paymond's Mediterranean Cafe and Hookah Lounge. Food is good, prices reasonable. They advertise in the LGBT magazine. Good choices for veg or vegans (and carnivores).

If you go to the Commercial Center at 953 E Sahara where you find Spotlight Lounge and Badlands Saloon and Onyx Theater... you can also find Koval Thai Restaurant. Small, comfortable good menu for veg, vegan and carnivores... Thai, Chinese and other Asian choices. They will treat you like family. When they ask how hot 1-10, ten is a 15 in Phoenix. Las Palmas is also good Mexican in the same complex. Lotus is also in that complex, one of the top rated restaurants in LV.

On Desert Inn just east of Eastern you will find Lido Michochan Mexican Rest. Top rated and very friendly.

DB Pong and Pool is in Planet Hollywood shops. Q-Vegas has a social there every Tues night. Good bar food and drinks.
