Resetting your password (was Re: Need Advice ...)

This applies specifically to the MyDLV system passwords here ...

The automatic password reset function will always generate a random gobbledygook password. It's intended to simply get you back in so you can then select a password you can remember.

To reset your password to something you choose, do the following:

1. Go to the main MyDLV screen.

2. Click on the User Control Panel link, to the upper left of the screen.

3. Click on the Profile tab.

4. Click on the Edit Account Settings tab.

5. Select a password you like and can remember. Enter this in the New Password and Confirm Password blanks.

6. Click the Submit button.

Your password is now updated to what you want.
