Drink And Drag downtown ...

What's the latest word on "Drink and Drag"? Is it going to be opening soon? Their website is 'under construction' so no info there. Has anyone been by the place to see how it is coming along?

Latest word I have is soft opening this weekend, Grand Opening on Good Friday.

The management has assured us that if for any reason the facility is not available for our Welcome Celebration, we will have the use of another well-known facility for said activity.

What type of clothes would fit in with **Drink and Drag**? I would really like to dress up a bit for the opener but If I will look out of place then I need to rethink the outfit choice.

And which other place would we switch to if *D and D* is not available.

Huggers. Katie.

As the name implies, you will be free to put on the dog, if you should choose to wear one.

Any outfit from ordinary street clothes to evening wear, boymode or girlmode, will be fine.

No, you will not be the only one dressing up for the occasion.

We don't want to announce this unless we have an issue, which appears very unlikely as of this time. If for some reason it should happen, the alternative will be a well-known and popular club which invites both mainstream and alternative guests. Dress guidelines will be the same should this happen.

I and Robyn are dressing as flappers. I would like to encourage anyone attending the mob museum to dress in mob attire.People at FSE(Fremont Street Experience) dress from sloppy casual to very dressy.I'm planning on going to D&D on sat.evening for the opening. Marisa

Hello ladies,
Cami here and I am one of the hosts of the Welcome Celebration at Drink and Drag. Let me put to rest any concerns about it opening. It is opening this week and if you go to facebook and "friend" Drink and Drag, you will see the updates and pictures. Grand Opening is 4/6, although they are having a soft opening this week. Marisa, let us know how it looks. They are providing us with a seperate area to mingle just off the bar area, so you and friends will be able to "catch up and socialize". As for dress, it will be as in past years. Dress whatever way you want, although many do dress up to the nines. I plan on doing so and bringing a change of clothes if I want to bowl. Should be fun and we are hoping for a huge turnout.
I am also hosting the Luna Rossa dinner earlier that day and hope many of you will come. The website is http://lunarossafrex.com/. Check it out. Looks very Italian and should be perfect following the Mob Museum tour.
Looking forward to seeing all again.

Hi.

Thanks Cami.

Looking at their menu it certainly looks decent and very

extensive too. And Now for the big question! It is a $$ or a$$$ or a$$$
or a $$$$ rated restaurant?

Hi Veronica, I'm going to D&D tomorrow evening. The Neonopolis complex has parking underground(the first hour is free, then $1/hour to a max. of $5 for 24 hours). Going North on 4th St. be in the right lane and shortly after crossing Fremont St. veer to the right down in the garage.Take the elevator or stairs to the second level and D&D is to the right. Marisa
