Doing karaoke at a straight bar. I was a little nervous the first time
I did it, and I have had people walk up to me and stare with puzzled
looks on their faces, especially when I do male voices, but no one has
ever given me any trouble.

Hey girl,

I have heard you do karaoke at Flex. I especially like the funny one you
do about the guy in the red neck bar. I can't remember the name of it,
but you do it so well! The one I did at Goodtimes, was the first I had
ever done!

Flex is a nice bar. I've always enjoyed going there. I'm very surprised
DLV went on for so long and we didn't visit Flex until 2002.

The one that Densie does that I like best is Sweet Transvestite. :)

Oh yes, the first time is scary. I did my first karaoke at a straight
bar, actually. Tony and I were playing shuffleboard and we met a couple
who joined us. The woman got me to agree to do Roberta Flack's "Killing
Me Softly" as a duet, but after the first few verses, I realized that I
was the only one singing. My voice sounded a lot better than I had
expected it to, and it was fun.

I can still do that song and a few others by female vocalists, but I
think that I am a comedian at heart. I do the silly songs because they
entertain and make people laugh.

The song that you're thinking of is "Uneasy Rider". I've liked it since
it first came out.
