No No and laser

Hi Susan!

Thank you! I was gonna try it - but the cost was a bit on the expensive
side, and that little voice in my head told me that this product may be
like alot of TV infomercials products to sell really don't work very
well as claimed - which appears in the fine print with the written
instructions AFTER one buys it.

I followed your advice and went to amazon.com ... one person is trying
to sell it states that its not for the face either - and not a cure for
unwanted hair - more towards hair reduction. Its a different story than
the infomercial that states after several treatments - almost all the
hair is removed. No indication on how many days or months to actually
reach that level. That is definitely NOT what I want.

I'm gonna do the same for that laser treatment one - even yahoo has a
side bar ad for it.

I'll stick to what I am using for now it is working for me for the short
term and good enough.

I just hate the red dots and itchiness that happens when the hair starts
to grow back - and the abrasion of the new stubble.

Thank you again for the insight to this product!

- Kumi

YOU are very welcome, that's one of the reasons we are here.

Someday they will find a hair removal pill, maybe the same time they
develop the Become a Girl over night Pill.

Happy Holidays,

SUSAN

Epilator

I have the "Emjoi" Epilator, it has 72 tweezer heads as compared to most
others which have 32, ie 1/2 the time of use. It has two speeds, I use
the slow speed for thinner hairs because it has less of a tendancy to
break the hairs off. The faster speed I use on the thicker hairs which
don't break as easily. Reading before buying, and using it after my
purchase, I found different people found individual sensitivity areas.
Mine is the center chest area and the under chin portion of my neck. I
did not find it at all uncomfortable in the groin and testee area,
however some did, oh, and the armpits are out. I also have a high
tollerance to pain so I can do any area from the neck down, but the
center chest is the most uncomfortable. You will have to get one and try
it for yourself. I do like the fact that I don't have the shave stubble
on my body the next day and in some areas for a couple weeks, however,
hairs grow in different cycles so about a week after using it I have to
do the second cycle of hair growth. I find that the more I use it the
closer the cycle growth gets to each other so I might eventually only
have to do it once every three to four weeks. The $80+ price tag more
than pays for itself with the unnecessary trips for laser and waxing, I
just with they made an extension handle so I could do my back myself. Go
online (ebay/Yahoo to find the best price. I got mine thru Yahoo 10
month's ago). Lastly, a lot of the hairs, since they are pulled out by
the root and sometimes the root core comes with them, never grow back,
so each time there seems to be less hairs to epilate.

Hope this helps,

Kat

The Emjoi, 72 head epilator, will remove facial hair, if you can stand
the pain. As for the pain I found different people experience more or
less pain to different areas than others. I barely notice it on my legs.
However, I stay away from my armpits and under chin neck area. Hope this
helps.

Epilator

I used my epilator on my face but like you said it was very painful and
it took a while longer than normal to pull out the hairs, which meant
longer pain. I saw the TRIA ad on an infomertial but they conviently
left the price out. I don't want to give them my info, where they will
pass it on to many others, so could you please tell me how much it cost
you? That will give me a determination as to when I might be able to
afford it.

Thanks,

Kat

Oh, by the way, as to my previous epilator replies... it is better to
use a beard trimmer first with the length set to about 1/4 of an inch.
For one there are shorter hairs in the epilator tweezers so less chance
of the longer hairs clogging and slowing it down.

No No and laser

My best advice is to leave the permanent hair removal to the
professionals.

Here in the northeast, Groupon runs occasional deals where you can get 6
laser treatments for the price of two. (I'm in the middle of having my
face and chest done, each at a different clinic.)

You may want to sign up for your part of the country and just wait for a
laser center near you to offer a discount.
