I have some interest in golf this year at DLV

I am interested in the golf this year, have been for others years as well, but not been able to. Do we have a cost yet, and does the course rent left handed clubs. I would bring mine but need to judege the cost of shipping vs. renting. Are they expensive to rent at the course or a golf shop close. Thanks for any help. Jill

Danielle, who is taking the lead on golf this year, has stated that yes, they rent clubs, but I sure don't know for sure about left-handed ones.

As for left-handed clubs, you'll have to call the course. It's Desert
Rose Golf Course, 702-431-4653.

You'll be able to register and pay me through PayPal, but club-rental
should be handled on-site. It's not a problem; I've done it the last
three years.

FORE! Mind if I play through? It's in the hole!!!
I happen to know for a fact that the Desert Rose GC rents left handed clubs since that is what they gave me last year when I first checked. Being a rightie I noticed something was wrong immediately and was able to switch clubs. After the way I played last year maybe I should have tried the left-handed set!
Club rental was $35, golf fee w/cart was $45, drinks were extra and well worth it. I believe that will be the same this year. Don't forget to tip your hostesses and beer-cart girl!

"How do I sign up for golf?" is one of our most frequently-asked questions.

The short answer is that you sign up for this and all other activities for which a sign-up is needed at activity sign-up time, which is scheduled to begin March 7. Payment information will be on the sign-up screen.

The general mailing, scheduled to come out this coming weekend, will detail activity sign-up in depth.

Hi Alice,

We would love to have you join us on the golf outing. It is a lot of
fun. You will have the opportunity to sign up after March 7. Pre-payment
is required and details on how to do that will be coming soon. This will
be done using Paypal. Cost will be $45 for green fees and cart. Club
rental is available for $35.
