A few hints, no spoilers though, on the questions people seem to be missing.
Hint #1: Those involved might be highly offended at the suggestion that AOL had anything to do with the formation of DLV.
Hint #2: Think of how much you (as an out-of-towner) spent to attend DLV. Hotel, food, adult beverages, everything. Then multiply that by the number of out of town DLVers.
Hint #3: Once and only once has the entire DLV group of any year been together in one place.
Hint #4: The first year the Sahara had anything to do with DLV was 1999.
Hint #5: Our first overseas attendee was not a Kiwi.
Hint #6: Be-All was definitely not a spin-off of DLV. Be-All predated DLV.
Final hint: For questions that may appear to be trick questions, look at the wording and the punctuation of the question VERY carefully! Yes, it is very possible to score 100% on this quiz.
