What's new?

I guess the conversation was about two different songs, "What's New? "
by Linda Ronstadt and "I'm Free" by the Rolling Stones. Put 'em together
though, and you get " What's New, I'm Free" by Linda Stones. Sorry about
that, I couldn't help myself.....LOL!

The tune which is best known as "What's New" was originally known as "I'm Free", but that name was not widely used.

No connection at all to the Stones tune of that name.

There's also a Who tune by that name as well, no connection to either of the above.

Wow! World Party! I haven't heard them or even thought of them for ages! :)

"Ooo-ooo, save me, save me from tomorrow ..." :)

And ... there are also several tunes titled "Ship Of Fools", all different. :)

(I'm not sure if this is what Bob had in mind, but it sure got the conversation going.) :)

"I'm Free" may refer to:

In music:

* "I'm Free" (The Who song)

* "I'm Free" (The Rolling Stones song)

"I'm Free", a cover of the Rolling Stones song, by The Soup
Dragons from their album Lovegod

* "I'm Free", by Scatman John from Everybody Jam!

* "I'm Free (Heaven Helps the Man)", by Kenny Loggins from the Footloose
soundtrack

Nah, it's not bizarre, unusual, sexually suggestive or funny enough.

I might do it in a foreign language, though, just to annoy people.
