I'm really surprised that no one complained about me being over-dressed.
I wore a suit with long sleeve shirt and tie.

The other male SO's were in sport shirts and casual slacks. Gosh, I must
have really stood out in my "costume"!

This is called sarcasm and not meant to be taken too serious, although
to some it is.

I totally agree that this whole incident is being talked about after the
fact. Why didn't anyone make a big deal of it when it happened. As far
as I know, no one went to the organizer and told her about it.

What about that guideline?

Guess it couldn't have been that important at the time as it is in
hindsight.

Bob,

Maybe they just wanted something to bellyache about.

I really don't think there's that much to complain about, in
regards to both the Bahama Breeze activity, or the DLV 2010
event as a whole.

Out of the 14 DLVs I've attended, I think I enjoyed this
one (2010) the best of all. We had our largest crowd, our
greatest number of planned activities, and what appears
to be our highest overall-event ratings on our survey.

As to this year's Bahama Breeze activity, of all of them
I've attended over the years, I do agree that this year's
was the best, and it was the foundation of the strong
ending which we've waited years for.

IIRC, it scored the highest of all Bahama Breeze sessions
over the years. It even scored slightly higher than our
Welcome Celebration on Monday, which was a very hard act
to follow. :)

I do think we have answered the question as to whether
or not the outfit in question was appropriate for such an
occasion. In the opinion of Susan, the coordinator of
record for the BB activity, it was appropriate, and that
is what counts, according to the letter and the spirit
of our rules and guidelines.
