May I request that you also post the thrift shop location list as early
as it is available so that people will be able to shop at a day and time
of their choosing, and without having to go to Imperial Palace to get
the list. Thank you for organizing this fun tour. You must be a very
nice gurl to do all of this. Thanks again.

What is Our DIVA Thrift Shop Tour?

[Moderator's note: Slight edit to correct a factual inconsistency.]

On Wednesday morning, April 21st, 10:00am, interested attendees will
gather at the The Imperial Palace to begin a shopping tour of some of
the finest thrift shops in LV; all coincindentally and convienently
located within easy distance from the strip. Please note that Pick-Up
stops at Sahara, Circus Circus, and other casinos along the way have
been eliminated as being superfluous and unecessary; I.P. will be our
only rendayvoux (starting place) and you must meet up with us there to
attend the group tour.

A "suggested" Itinerary of shops along with a route map will be
distributed to our hostesses, at any and all casinos where we have them,
by Monday morning the 19th, and you may pick one up there. The tour
route itself is beyond simple, and some of you will no doubt take off on
your own beforehand to conduct your own tour; and that's O.K. All our
merchants have been notified that we'll be in town for the entire week
and they will be looking for us; get on out there! The only drawback to
this approach that I can think of is that you will miss out on my
worldly wise fashion consultation and advice - tee hee - but if you
think you can do better on your own, I'll try to understand.

Big Sisters, if you meet any little sisters out there that might need a
wardrobe upgrade or just a morning shopping spree to kick those blahs,
by all means take them along with you. Drivers, please be aware of LV's
viscious D.U.I. codes; if you're going to cocktail along the way,
appoint a designated driver.

So, that's it. Between the hair salon, the nail salon, the make-over
salon, the botiques (botyques), the thrifts, the buffets, the fun and
the games, by the middle of the week we'll all be struttin' the mutton
down LV boulevard like we was DIVAs out on loan from Hollywood . . . .
.or something.

Love you all,

Cynthia
