As of this day, hour, minute, and second, our headcount for
DLV 2009 sits at 141. This is only one less than (142) the
final machine-predicted turnout projection. I expect that
this number will increase by a few as we get more of the
stragglers counted. Thanks to all for sending in updates.

141 isn't a record, but it's our second-highest turnout in
our history. It exceeds our five-year moving average (136)
which was our target, so I'm very happy with the turnout.

We did have one record this year, that being the largest
group of DLVers ever assembled in any one place, which was
at Monday's Welcome Celebration at the Blue Ox. Final count
for that was 105.

There are really two groups of people who are responsible
for the success of DLV 2009. First is the group of DLV
volunteers (listed below) who did a dynamite job in
putting the whole thing together. This year we had a
number of new volunteers and a lot of out-of-the-box
thinking.

The group who's really responsible for the success of
DLV is YOU, the attendees as a whole, without whom DLV
would never happen. We had a great group this year, some
of the finest people in the known universe.

Please stay tuned as we complete the various follow-up
items (survey, call for photos, call for volunteers, etc.)
over the next few weeks.

I'm posting this list again, since I think all who coordinated
activities this year deserves our recognition and thanks!
