1. This year I stayed at the Sahara, and I found it to be just fine.
I'll probably stay there again.
I stayed at the St. Tropez last year. The main drawback was lack of a
full-service restaurant. I like getting up in the morning and having a
real breakfast without having to travel. I was told by the desk clerk to
go across the street to the Hard Rock Cafe to eat. This required walking
across a busy street in the middle of the block. And I found the Hard
Rock Cafe much too loud.
Also, the back entrances to the St. Tropez are locked at night. This
required me to park, then walk all around the building through a dark
alley to the front, then walk through the "garden" where the sprinklers
were on. I would get to my room tired and wet.
2. and 3: No comment.
4. I strongly recommend a quick trip to your local AAA before coming to
Las Vegas. Pick up an AAA Las Vegas street map!
