Other St Tropez and Alexis Park guests...

Hello,

I just wanted to say I arrived at the St Tropez Sunday afternoon and see
the list says there are at least a dozen of us DLV'ers in between here
and Alexis Park. I have a car, which seats 4, and remain willing to
drive to some events while I am here now through Weds overnight (leaving
Thurs am). Email me direct at britney.joelle@gmail.com or call my room
#1003. (St Tropez: 702.369.3472)

I also wondered if anyone in these two hotels wanted to try a "safe,
initial" gathering someplace close, like Hard Rock across the street?

Nervous, but glad to finally be here,

We had a good turnout at the pre-DLV thing last night at the Alexis
Park next door. This was announced under "Early Birds" in the Large
Final Mailing.

Hard Rock is generally considered safe, both the cafe and casino, but
both tend to be loud, crowded, and zooey. A good safe place would be
Blyss, about 2 blocks south of Harmon at the intersection of Naples.

Thanks Annie. I DID see that while re-reading through all my print-outs
last night again, so I got there late, sat in the bar until 11pm, talked
to the bartender (he said, "Yeah! 25-30 of "that group" had been there
and seemed to be having a good time!") and I met another late-arriving
DLV first timer. We all talked about life, the universe, and everything,
so the evening was still nice, and worth having "turned the crank". I
have a hunch the whole week is gonna be "so worth it", so...

carpe diem!
