I think the actual wording is something like "no
unscheduled stops except for emergency", so it's up to
you what constitutes an "emergency", I guess. :)

I do seem to recall somebody calling for an "emergency
stop" as we were passing a liquor store in a somewhat
unsalubrious neighborhood, and returning with a
whole shopping cart full of bottles!

Question? What do you think the limo driver said to all
of his other fellow driver about DLV?

In the grand scheme of things, I'm sure they regard our
group to be somewhat tame by Las Vegas standards.

One of the drivers (Monroe) remarked that he enjoyed
driving our group, because we're well-behaved, fun-loving,
polite, etc. He went on to tell some tales of people he
has driven who trashed the limo, did drugs in the limo,
made pongo-pongo in the limo, were rude and nasty, were
too drunk or stoned to walk, or committed the absolute
worst sin of all, stiffed him on the tip! :)

I'm sure that a few of them over the years have been
a bit surprised by the nature of our group, since the
dispatcher just tells them where and when and doesn't
say much else. :) I think all of them have warmed up
to us.

Milt, for example, is a real sweetheart and requests
to drive us. He was very flattered that he appears on
our web site and in our hardcopy brochure. :)

We've had some women as drivers over the years too,
such as Brigid back in 2001, who knew exactly how to
get us to the Del Mar Motel. (Densie would have been
very disappointed otherwise!) Mary, in 2006, got our
group past the security stops and got us in to the
Wynn opening night after the trip had ended.

We are certainly better behaved than that horrid Britney Spears!

yes i know i was there when Mary got us up to the Wynn Hotel
pass all the security and she was a doll.

But no one said or did anything derogatory for that matter. And yes i
do believe that the drivers all have horror stories to tell but do we
need to add to that list????????/

Well, we hardly stiffed them on the tip, but as for the other, I
plead "no contest".

Oh, I'm sure that you and Lester could find the place. :)
