Newly-added activities:

This week we will feature three activities that were recently added to
our lineup. Presented in chronological order.

1. Lucky Chengs

Lucky Cheng's in Las Vegas is a branch of the New York restaurant of the
same name, which is internationally famous for their waitstaff and their
drag shows.

This will be offered as an in-town alternative to Night Of The Soiled
Doves on Tuesday. A specially-negotiated DLV price of $25 per person
includes appetizer, entree, and dessert, as well as the show of course.

2. Big Show Pity Party

This is presented as a low-cost alternative to Thursday's show and Limo
Tour.

As Mindy, organizer of the BSPP, writes:

Location and details are now set for the BSPP.

Location: Ramrod.. formerly the Rainbow Lounge in the Commercial Center.

7:30 Dinner for those who want to dine with the group.

8:30 or 9:00 (Tranny Time) drag show for and by DLV attendees.

This will be co-hosted by Ginger Grant and myself. Anyone can perform.
Provide your own music and get with me anytime up until showtime or
contact me on the disussion group so we can set a line up. There is an
offstage changing area if you need to do a costume change. The stage is
a nice size so more then one person can perform at a time if you happen
to have a number you would like to do with a friend or friends.

3. Southern Belle Society Social

This is co-sponsored by Diva Las Vegas and the Southern Belle Society.
The SBS ladies assure us that this will not be a recruiting effort,
although SBS membership information and sign-up will be available. This
is a nice casual get-together to sit back, relax, and enjoy each other's
company for some of that Quality Social Time<tm> that DLV is famous for.

There are currently two venues in consideration for the SBS Social, and
a decision will be made shortly. The location and other details will be
announced in the Large Final Mailing. Both venues are safe enough for
those just coming out, but not so secluded that anybody's going to get
claustrophobia. :)

Thanks to Ginger (of Lunch With Ginger fame) for coordinating this
year's Southern Belle Social.
