...can't quite remember the details......
Oh yeah.
What a great deal of fun again this year. I know I did something on
Monday but can't remember exactly what. (I believe many chocolate
martinis were involved.) NSDII was a blast. The food at Bahama Breeze
was very good, despite the foul-ups in trying to sort out everyone's
bill at the end of the night. Next time we need to specify separate
checks.
The Limo Tour, as always, was the highlight, although next year we
should consider spending 15 to 20 minutes over on Fremont Street
instead of just hanging in front of Four Queens.
On Friday I went over to Krave early to see the "Fashionistas" show,
which was quite good, and featured some interesting uses of vinyl and
latex costumes. It's about the same price as Folies Bergere (also an
outstanding show) and would suggest it be considered for next year's
production show. I stayed at Krave after the show and about a dozen
girls showed up for dance night. Unfortunately we first had to suffer
through the Kenny Kerr "Men of Krave" show which took 45 minutes but
felt like two hours. Krave is a first-class big city dance venue, on a
par with Avalon in Boston and The Arc in Sydney. Highly recommended.
As always it was so great to see so many friends again, and many thanks
to Annie for taking the time to co-ordinate everything. She is a true
inspiration.
