First of several comments on Diva 2005 as I think of them

Hi All,

This was a fantastic Diva. It was only my fourth, but we did did set a
high bar. It will take a lot of imagination and work to have a better
one than this.

But, that is an exciting challange and as I have come to know more and
more of the Diva girls, I am confident that future Divas will just get
better and better. We really do have a lot of talent out there.

I was amused at Elise from New York when we were at the Tea, and she
said that "she thought she had died and gone to heaven!" She really did
like the tea! I was happy the Lorraine was at the tea. As an English
Girl, she could judge it with some authority, and she did pronounce it
worthy! She was really impressed with the Four Seasons Hotel, too!

Since she is taking the Dival Las Vegas Golf Chamionship to England, I
told her an attempt might be made to come and recalim it for the USA.
She graciously, invited any of us to try!

Tootsye flew to Las Vegas and back to Dallas/Ft. Worth for Diva. The
challange was to bring enough clothes on the airplane, but I had
observed that Michelle Jenkins and Lorraine always look lovely and
appropriate for each activity, and even less luggage is allowed on
international flights than on domestic ones. So, I accepted the
challenge and I think it worked well. I even had enough room to buy a
new waist cincher at "Bad Attitude" and bring it back in the luggage. I
could not wear it because of the metal stays.

I have found that flying to Diva as Tootsye adds a significant sense of
adventure to the week. I was careful to "sanitize" my purse and carry on
luggage.I had my ticket and photo identification ready when I was asked
for it, and in each case was given a cursory glance and waved on
through. Perhaps it was the wide brimmed white tea hat that I was
wearing that got me through? Who knows!
