I see that the San Remo hotel is no longer on the "recommended" list. I
found it quite comfortable last year and am wondering why it is no
longer on the list. Any clues would be appreciated.

You are correct. It is not one of our suggested hotels for DLV 2005.

One and only one reason. San Remo (Hooters) failed to get a majority of
YES votes from the ORG group, who are those who stepped forward to help
organize and implment DLV 2005.

I can say most certainly that there was not any one specific reason.
Those who voted NO had their own reasons for doing so, as did those who
voted YES.

That's really about all there is to it.

Hi Roselyn.

Although The San Remo is not one of the recomended hotels I
would think that quite a few 2005 DLV ladies will be staying there
again. Not all the girls are willing to commit to joining the org and
being part of a vote on these and other issues, so if you liked the San
Remo I suspect you won't be alone there. I very likely will be staying
there myself.

Even though it was not a 5 star spot, it was an easy slower paced very
comfortable place to be when dressed. And the parking lot which has
evolved into a DLV Pre event marshalling yard so to speak is one of the
most accessible in the strip area.

Look forward to meeting you there.

Kate.

For DLV 2005, the carpool staging area will instead be in the lot in the
rear of a local business where there's a large lighted lot where we do
have explicit permission to use it for just this.
