Two weeks to go:

That's correct!

Diva Las Vegas 2024 is only two weeks away!

Things are falling into place nicely and we're looking forward to seeing
everyone in person in only a couple of short weeks!

If you would like to attend DLV 2024 but have not registered yet, YES,
there is still time to get in on things, but you must act now.

You can register for the event on line here:

Once you have registered, you will need to (in most cases) make your
hotel reservations.

Our two suggested hotels for DLV 2024 are the Flamingo and the Linq,
which are side-by-side in the central Strip area.

Hotel questions:

Two hotel questions which we have received several times in the recent
weeks are:

1. What are some less expensive hotels in the area?

The least expensive hotel in the immediate area of our two suggested
hotels is the Casino Royale. It's a Best Western. It's been reported as
clean and comfortable.

The Tuscany and the Ellis Island are two less-expensive casino-hotels
which are both about a 10 minute walk from the Flamingo and Linq. We
have had DLVers stay at both over the years with no significant issues.

The "usual suspect" travel sites can be used to book any of these three.

2. Why don't you have group discount rates at a major hotel this year?

The answer is simple. None of our current volunteers were willing to
assume the personal financial risk and liability that comes with
sponsoring such an arrangement for a group like ours, sorry.

Activity notes:

Everyone who registered by last Friday evening should have received their
Activity Sign-Up invitations.

This is where you tell us which of the optional activities on our
calendar you want to do.

If you registered by last Friday evening and have NOT received this,
please let us know. Just reply to this mailing.

Those who registered after last Friday will receive their Activity
Sign-Up mailings during the coming week.

As of this writing, all of our activities are within capacity.

Some of you may have seen a "waiting list" notice for the Pool Party,
but as of this time, expected fall out will allow all who want to
participate to do so.
