Activity wrapup. *Katies Kofee Korner.

Hi Gang.
Katies Koffee Korner was an enormous success this year. In previous years we have had much smaller gatherings at Club Cappuccino but this year was much busier and everyone dressed to perfection.

Monday we had 15, Tuesday ( Obviously with Golfers in the mix we had twice that many. Wednesday 12 showed up. Thursday 16 came and went. Friday around the same amount were there. All in all it was a great way to start every day at DLV 2016.

We gathered around the Fire Pit ( Obviously outside ) and intermingled with couples and single women and men who embraced us all in a rather nice manner. I actually met men and women who had coffee'd with us later on in the day and they didn't try to avoid me! *lol* ... They actually went out of their way to be sociable which was quite nice I thought. I suspect this has a lot to do with what Gyllian from GB said when she wrote to thank me for KKK about how the Morning coffee gang were always well behaved and extremely well dressed and well groomed. I think we represented Diva Las vegas in a very nice and lady like way. Some days girls came along in Boy mode but for the most part we were simply women having coffee the way only women can do. In Style!

We were entertained one morning at the Fire pit by 2 birds, One quite big and one quite small who went foraging for food right into the fire. *lol* They flew away rather rapidly. *lol*. The funny thing was they never made a sound. I had expected at least a squawk or two!

Thanks to all the ladies who showed up and helped us to accomplish this in such fine fashion! I loved what we did there and hopefully I will be back again next year.
2 mornings a small group of us ambled over to Caesars in hopes of continuing the moment and this worked very well too.

We took some great photos and I made a lot of really nice new friends over A coffee or two from Monday to Friday.

As a point of interest..>> It took me until ' Wednesday morning to realize that I did not have to stand in a long line up if I was only having a coffee and no food. What a dummy! *lol* ... I noticed that there was a separate queue for coffee only which moved very fast and it was never more than 2 people long. Ces't la vie. What happens, happens I suppose.

Another thing I found out was if you are feeling a bit snacky at 10 PM and passing the Club Cappuccino they give you 2 muffins for the price of one as they are going to dispose of any which are left overs anyway. KT Being cheap and all she jumped at the opportunity. Ha!

** Point of interest... Those who book the Flam next year should think about requesting ***The Spa tower** for their stay because as the elevators open up directly onto the Club Cappuccino Or turn right and you are at the parking escalators and the valet escalators also, whereas the other tower beside the Buffet is a long walk through the casino with bags in hand upon arrival and departure. * Just something to think about!

Hi Katie

Just want to say a massive thank you to you and all the girls who made DLV a huge success

I have met some truly amazing people and made new friends I hope for life. Like Gyllian I attended from UK and have to say how accommodating everyone was. I like many girls want to promote a positive image of our community and mixed well with other hotel guests. I hope we can make next year but for now rest your feet mine are still throbbing after wearing my heels all week

Hi Katie. Thanks for having the KKK every morning even though I was only
able to make it on Thursday morning. But then the line was way too long
to get any coffee and I didn't know about the coffee only line. Most
mornings I just forgot to go down there. Then I didn't realize you had
it on Saturday until it was too late.

I too had a very wonderful week and a half. I really appreciate all the
things every one does to make these things happen for us.

Thanks Girls. I loved doing it.

Due to the magnitude and the quality of the attendees, (Which is always tantamount to a successful party) . My days at DLV 2016 started off in great fashion. This put me in party mode every day and most importantly it gave me the necessary encouragement to possibly do it again next Spring.
Sorry about the weather though, I tried my best but could not get it ramped up a few degrees. *lol*.

Unfortunately I could not be there on the Saturday morning because I was in the air en route to Detroit at 8AM so I don't know how many, if any showed up that day.

It was great to start each morning at Katie"s Coffee group. Fun to start the day with good friends and conversation and it got me up and going in the morning. Also enjoyed wandering about afterward exploring the Flamingo and Ceasers with Katie and friends, fond fun memories. Thanks so much Katie you are a wonderful Hostess and friend!
