RIP John Warrener (Glamour Boutique) 1952-2015 :(

Postby annie » Mon Jun 29, 2015 9:26 am

I've just received word that John Warrener, founder and proprietor of the original Glamour Boutique, has passed away.

John was a previous attendee and vendor at DLV. John will be dearly missed in our community.

An obituary for John is on line here:

How tragic. So young, Such a wonderful guy, and he did so much for our
community.

Not to repeat a trite cliche but in this case "He truly will be missed."
I never got to any of his events, but the TG community does not have
many allies as John Warrener. God will look kindly upon his application
for admission to the Pearly Gates, for sure.

Sincerely

Vickie Stone

He was not that much older than I am! :( Value your health, gang!

> and he did so much for our community.

John was one of the Good Guys as far as TG community merchants go. John started the original Glamour Boutique in response to another real sleazoid who ran a so-called TG-supportive business but was simply out for the $$$$$. Over the years I can't remember ever hearing anything negative about John or the business.

Yes, he will truly be missed! :(

Annie writes: Value your health, gang!

I didn't read what caused his untimely passing. He was 62 yrs. old.
By any standards, that's too young.

I wrote previously about my surgery and having a good outcome. I'm now a cancer survivor and grateful for my positive health journey. I had a rare cancer that usually goes undetected until it's no longer treatable. Fortunately, mine was detected early enough so the surgery makes me disease-free. Good health requires monitoring and maintenance!

Follow Annie's suggestion and get your check-ups now.
best,
Dionne
PS - check something off your 'bucket list', today! Yes, those shoes are on my list, too (;-o))
