Sorry to bore anyone with administrivia or wonk topics, but if anyone
ever has any concerns about why something they sent in to this list
and/or forum did not appear, here are the guidelines we use to determine
what does and does not go out:

5. On/Off topic: We don't have strict rules as to where the line
between on-topic and off-topic is drawn.

Almost anything that you believe is relevant to the event will most
likely be considered on-topic and posted to the list.

Announcements for other TG events and other items that may or may
not be of interest to the reader must be non-recurring, typed by
your own hand, and succinct. Forwarded announcements will not be
used.

Anything forwarded to the list, NO MATTER WHAT THE APPARENT
URGENCY or how important, cute, funny, or heartwarming it may be,
in response to a request to mass-forward, will be considered
off-topic and rejected.

"Grand Exit" or "flounce" announcements are considered off-topic
and will not be posted to the list. Commercial solicitations and
personal appeals for money are considered off topic and will not
be posted.

Please refrain from adding our address to any regular mailings you
make such as jokes, cartoons, feelgood items, virus warnings, etc.

Please do not send e-cards or "invite" the forum address to social
networking sites.
