Pinkfest theater tickets

After I contacted Goldstar.com today, they now have "Evil Dead: the musical" tickets available at half price. Previously, they didn't have the last week of the run in the lineup.

Unfortunately, though they also have "Million Dollar Quartet" tickets at half price, they don't have the 3:30 show available. They only include the 6:30 show on Sundays. Too bad, 'cause I'm cheap.

Anyone buying their own tickets should take care to NOT accidentally buy "Musical of the Living Dead" at Stage 773.

Has anyone used Goldstar before? Looks like it's a will-call arrangement with about $9.50 added for most tickets. Still, cheaper than either Ticketmaster or the box office.

Group tickets in the cheap seats anyone?

I use goldstar all the time. Yes, it's either will call or they just
put your name on the list at some of the smaller theaters that don't use
physical tickets. Make sure to keep your confirmation code, save the
email, or print it out as some theaters require this.

Sit together? Yes. I've previously offered to buy a group of tickets for anyone who GUARANTEES repayment during Pinkfest.

Goldstar allows group purchases of up to 6. Prices for Evil Dead are 29.49 for non-splatter zone tickets.

Hottix allows groups of any size. Prices there are 45.50 for best available (right now).

I'm still willing to front the group purchase for anyone who responds via this thread by noon on Tuesday. (Please, don't make me regret it). Boy-mode attendees from the "Joining us" thread also welcome.

I will need payment during Pinkfest. No, I don't make change.

NOTE: I don't know how long it takes for "external user" messages to appear, so I can only include those whose message actually appears in this thread (on geekbabe.com) when I check after noon on Tuesday.

E-mail gatewaying to the forum is subject to approval, and it varies depending on when your esteemed moderator checks the approval queue. Usually a few hours at most. I'll be sure to check frequently in the days leading up to Pinkfest since we do have a few time sensitive things going out.

Yahoo typically takes longer and does have a 3-4% fall-out rate.
