Be aware that the Chicago Transit Authority is changing over to a new
fare medium, Ventra. The traditional mylar pass cards may not be
available as readily at retail outlets, if at all. Though one might
still be able to add a "pass" to a Ventra card if you have one already
or can buy one at an L station, the airport terminals, or Union Station.
Of course, it would not be a bad idea to go ahead and order one in
advance online and have it mailed to you:

Also, for those without a day or multi-day pass, be aware that there is
now a $5 fare for single rides departing from the O'Hare airport L
station.
