DLV Group Text allows DLV attendees to send brief text messages to and
receive text messages from all attendees who are subscribed to the
service.

This year you will have two sets of options available to you as a DLV
Group Text subscriber:

You will have the ability to redact your phone number (or email address)
from the DLV Group Text messages that you send.

You will have the option to restrict the messages you receive to official
DLV announcements only.
You may set these options on the main DLV Group Text set-up screen.

DLV Group Text works with most cell phones provided by major US and Canadian
carriers as well as most email accounts.

You may subscribe to the DLV Group Text using the "Communications
Options" button in your Attendee Information Portal.

If you find the number of messages to be annoying:

Send "suspend" (one word, nothing else) to stop messages
for the remainder of the day. --or--

Send "unsubscribe" (one word) to stop messages for the remainder
of the event.

You may visit your Attendee Information Portal and adjust your DLV Group Text
subscription to Announcements Only.
The Diva Las Vegas Group Text is a system by which attendees who subscribe
to the service can easily send and receive brief text messages to and from
other subscribing attendees.
DLV Group Text messages may be sent and received either by email or by
cell phones on most US and Canadian cell phone carriers.
The DLV Group Text system will become active on the day of
the start of the event and will be turned off approximately one day after
the end of the event.
A brief test message will
be sent to the group sometime Sunday afternoon. If you are subscribed
and do not receive this by 6:00pm PDT on Sunday, please email
tech@divalas.vegas and explain the circumstances. Brief messages will
be sent out most days as reminders.
All messages sent via the DLV Group Text are "public" in nature
and will be sent to all subscribing attendees. "Private"
messages are not directly supported. You may reply privately to the sender
of a DLVText message using email or SMS/MMS text if you wish.
You may send messages to all DLVText subscribers by sending a message
via email or text to: dlvtext@divalas.vegas or by simply replying to any
DLVText message.
You may subscribe to the DLVText service via the Attendee Information
Portal.
In the event that the volume of messages becomes annoying to you, you may
simply reply with "suspend" (one word, nothing else) to stop
messages for the remainder of the day or with "unsubscribe"
(one word, nothing else) to stop them permanently.
If you are unable to subscribe to the DLVText service, you can always view
the last 25 messages on line at:
