Activity Sign-Up in progress:

First of all, welcome to those who just registered or just joined our
mailing list. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us
know. Just reply to this mailing.

We are now in our "crunch time" and it is possible that recent emails
may have been overlooked due to the volume and activity recently. If
you sent in anything to us which needs a response and did not get one,
please resend or remind. Email is not a perfect medium and humans do
make mistakes.

Everyone who registered for DLV 2024 prior to Friday evening, September
6, should have now received an invitation to sign up for optional
activities.

IF YOU DID NOT RECEIVE THIS, SOMETHING IS WRONG AND WE NEED TO KNOW
ABOUT IT!

If you registered (and validated, if necessary) and did not receive this,
please let us know. Simply reply to this mailing.

Those who registered after Friday evening will receive the Activity
Sign-Up invitations on or about this coming Wednesday.

As of this writing, no activities are full or in a waiting list state,
but the Sunday evening dinner and the Pool Party are approaching
capacity.

Things to come:

The next big milestone is our publishing of the Final Attendee Information,
which is set to happen on or about Wednesday, September 25.

Notices will be sent out to everyone registered for DLV 2024 when this is
available.

The Final Attendee Information will include items such as:

* The Bare Minimum - Quick-Start Guide to Diva Las Vegas

* Final detailed schedules, several versions optimized for desktop, for
mobile devices, for printing, etc., containing very detailed info on
each activity, including such things as a link to the Google map to help
you find the venue, Coordinator cell phone number, exactly where to meet
the group, dress suggestions for each activity, and in most cases a
clear headshot of the Coordinator so you will know who to look for.

* Contact information. Phone numbers, Big Sister Hotline.

* What to do in case something is wrong

* Setting up cell phone and e-mail activity reminders

* Any last-minute changes or announcements

For your DLV 2024 name tags, you will have the options of printing these
in advance prior to your arrival or picking them up on site.

Tag images will be available via your Attendee Information Portal
beginning on or about September 20. Tag holders will be available at
any DLV activities marked "Name Tags Available" on the final schedule.

Big Sister volunteers needed:

If you are a returning DLV attendee, please consider volunteering to be
a Big Sister to one of more new attendees for DLV 2024.

Our Big Sister Program was established in 2001 and has become one of our
shining stars!

Big Sisters are DLV veteran DLVers who have expressed the desire to help
those who are new or unsure. They are matched one-to-one with attendees
who desire the assistance of a companion and mentor.

The most important qualification for being a Big Sister is the desire to
help others!

The best way to volunteer is to fill out the Big Sister Volunteer form
using the appropriate link on the Attendee Information Portal, which is
the URL you received shortly after you registered.

Alternatively you may e-mail bigsister@divalas.vegas to volunteer.

Big Sister volunteers who are successfully matched with one or more
Little Sisters are granted voting status within the DLV Volunteer Group
for the coming year.

Please consider being a Big Sister for Diva Las Vegas 2024.
