ID check for restroom? (was Re: October 22-25)

Here's a question for you ...

Have you (or anyone reading this, actually) ever been asked to
produce ID when using a restroom in a public place?

I'm not talking about at or near a TG event, or any place where
TGs may be obvious, but places like airports, shopping malls,
where you were solo and otherwise minding your own business.

Anyone?

No, never had anyone ask for an ID in relation to a restroom.

Nor have I ever had a security guard talk to me, a restroom attendant at
fancy places ever bat an eye, nor have I ever had a GG look at me funny
while in the ladies room.

The only places I ever had a problem (3 places, once each, never wanted
to go to them again) were from over-zealous bartenders (who already knew
I was trans) at gay/lesbian/drag bars redirecting me to unisex
bathrooms.

Never.

I can't imagine someone standing at each public restroom or knocking
at doors to stalls doing ID checks.
