The main reasons for doing this earlier this year are to allow us to hit some lists of TG events earlier in the process, and to have the dates firmly set prior to Diva Las Vegas, which is only two months away.
The week prior was considered and rejected due to a room rate spike brought on by the Chicago Marathon. The weekend within our proposed timespan appears to be free of major events which would cause more crowds than usual and room rate spikes.
The floor is now open for comments on the timespan of October 14-18. If you are otherwise a "definite" for Pinkfest 2015 but are absolutely-positively locked out by this timespan, now is your time to speak. We do ask all who may be affected to please, in good faith, not exaggerate your degree of difficulty in making Pinkfest on these dates.
