Dates for DLV 2021:

This is a preliminary announcement of the dates for DLV 2021, and a Call
For Comments on such dates.

Our DLVORG group has just decided, by a vote and by consensus, to
schedule Diva Las Vegas 2021 from Tuesday, October 26 through Monday,
November 1.

It should be noted that Monday, November 1, is intended primarily as a
departure day and is planned to have only "send off" activities.

As is our custom, a one-month Call For Comments is now open, and will
remain open until March 27, 2021.

If you wish to comment, you may do so by simply replying to this
mailing.

We realize that there are still several unknowns regarding the state of
things in October. We are proceeding optimistically, assuming that by
October the Covid situation will have settled down enough that we may
have a safe and comfortable event.

Should circumstances evolve in other directions, we'll inform everyone
of any changes in our plans. Please stay tuned.

There may be one or more other TG groups holding events this week as
well, and preliminary plans are in the works to plan one or more joint
activities with other groups holding events this week.

We will start planning our daily activities shortly, and tentative
schedules will be included in these mailings starting when there is
enough to report upon.

It's anticipated that registration for our October 2021 event will open
sometime in the early summer. This will be announced in these mailings.

I am so excited to share the Flamingo room booking passkey. Please use
this to book your room at the Flamingo for our Diva Las Vegas 2021 event
and you will receive the discounted rate. The dates are officially
October 26th through November 1st.

For those if you that prefer to phone in their reservations, they may
call the Reservation Center at 888-373-9855 to secure a reservation on
your group block. However, you should be aware that a processing fee
per reservation will be incurred if you choose not to use our dedicated
weblink. Currently, the name of the group is listed as Diva Group.

We encourage all attendees to stay at the Flamingo as we will be
organizing various events at the Flamingo, including daily happy hours
at the Garden bar. These rates are very attractive for this time of
year. I have estimated an approximate number of rooms we may need, so
please do not hesitate to book now as you can cancel without penalty.
If I need more rooms I will need to go back to them and there is no
guarantee the rates will stay the same.

Things are looking better in Vegas and hotels are re-opening. Shows are
coming online. Bars and music venues are allowing more occupancy. It
will be a great time so make this happen for you.

We're asking all, particularly those who live in the Las Vegas area and
those who are familiar with the goings-on in Las Vegas to please look
over this list of merchants and vendors and, if you know, let us know the
status of those you know for sure, as in open, planning to reopen, closed
permanently, etc.

The pandemic has been very hard on businesses, and especially hard on
small businesses, and we need to update both our activity venues and our
Big List of places to go in Las Vegas.

If you know the status of any of these, please let us know by simply
replying to this mailing and saying so.
