All plans are in place and everything is ready to go.

The Final Attendee Information:

This coming week, most likely Wednesday, we will be releasing the Final
Attendee Information for Diva Las Vegas 2024.

Everyone who is signed up to attend will receive a notice when this is
ready, plus a copy of URL to the Attendee Information Portal, where the
Final Attendee Information may be accessed.

Some of the more notable items in the Final Attendee Information are:

* The Bare Minimum - Quick-Start Guide to Diva Las Vegas

* Late Notices - Changes - Updates

* Contact Information

* Maps And Schedules - Current desktop and mobile versions.

* What to do in case something is wrong

* Directions to various functions and locations

* Setting up cell phone and e-mail activity reminders

* If you are feeling uneasy or uncertain

* Making contact, checking in, etc.

* Detailed instructions for local transportation

* Photography information and Guidelines

Name tags:

A Diva Las Vegas name tag lets everyone know that you are part of the
group, and tells everyone (or reminds everyone) of your name.

Name tags will be available at at several of the DLV activities,
beginning on Sunday, September 29.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THOSE WHO REGISTERED AFTER FRIDAY,
SEPT. 20 MAY NOT HAVE A PRE-PRINTED NAME TAG AVAILABLE.

One thing that will be really helpful to you and the volunteers is if
you can print your name tags before you come, on your home or office
printer. This will help everyone save time and materials and will give
you a head start on things.

For Diva Las Vegas you will have these options for your name tag(s):

1. Print your name tag(s) in advance and bring them with you. Tag
holders will be available at no charge if you need them.

2. Pick up your name tag(s) at any activity marked "Name Tags Available"
in the notes on the final schedule.

3. Bring a previous year's DLV name tag with you. (Once a valid DLV
name tag, always a valid DLV name tag.) Again, tag holders will be
available if you need them.

Printing your name tag is easy. Simply go to your Attendee Information
Portal (the link that you were sent shortly after you registered and
will be sent to you in your Activity Sign-Up invitation) and select the
green "Generate Name Tag" button.

You can then use your browser's PRINT function to print your name tag(s)
on your home or office printer.

Name tag images for those for those who registered on or before Friday
will be ready at Activity Sign-Up time.

Please reconfirm your attendance:

Signing up for optional activities (or simply submitting a blank
Activity Sign-Up screen) reconfirms your intent to attend. If you
have already signed up for activities, this does not apply to you.

If you are registered but do not wish to do any of the optional
activities, please reconfirm your attendance by replying to any of the
Activity Sign-Up messages with a brief note that you will be
participating.

This will help us out by letting us know to expect you, and will help
you by stopping the nagging reminders.

Deadlines and Cutoffs:

General registration for Diva Las Vegas 2024 will close on Thursday,
September 26, at 8:00am Pacific Time. This is a hard-stop cutoff!

Activity Sign-Up will also close on Thursday at 8:00am Pacific Time.
All activity sign-ups and changes after that time will need to be made
in person with the appropriate Activity Coordinators, who will be listed
(most with phone numbers) on most versions of the final schedule.

For The Mentalist show on Friday, October 4, tickets will be distributed
to DLV ticket holders at 7:00pm SHARP at the V Theater!

Tickets not claimed by 10 minutes before show time will be forfeited and
given to anyone present (DLV attendees or not) who need tickets. No
refunds, sorry.

Please be sure to use a current schedule:

To avoid any confusion, misunderstandings, and disappointments, please
be sure that you use a current and accurate schedule of our event.

For the past few years we've had individuals use outdated schedules and
ended up making needless trips and/or missing out on things.

Final accurate schedules will be contained in the Final Attendee
Information.

There are several versions of our schedule, and all versions contain the
same information.

If you are confused over which version of the schedule to use, please
use the Simple Complete Schedule for desktop devices and laptops and
tablets, or the Mobile Schedule for mobile devices.

Most versions of the schedule allow you to "drill down" to detailed
individual activity information and venue/location information,
including map links.

If you have any questions or concerns about anything involving our
schedules, please let us know.

DLV Group Text:

We strongly suggest that all DLV attendees sign up for DLV Group Text!

This will be our primary means for making important announcements and
spreading the word about what is happening while the event is in
progress.

You can sign up for DLV Group Text for your mobile phone (most North
American carriers supported) or your email or both.

This year you will have the option of receiving only official DLV
announcements or receiving all messages sent by other DLV Group Text
subscribers.

You will also have the option to redact the display of your phone number
(or email address) from the DLV Group Text messages that you send.

You can sign up for group text and set the options described above
either on the Activity Sign-Up screen or by using the Communication
Options on your Attendee Information Portal.

DLV Group Text will become active on Sunday morning prior to DLV and
will remain active through Sunday after DLV.

There will be a brief test message sent to all DLV Group Text
subscribers during Sunday afternoon or early evening at the start of
DLV. If you are subscribed to DLV Group Text and do not receive this by
6:00pm Pacific Time on Sunday, at the very latest, please let us know.
