If you want the closest and most discreet car-to-casino path at the
Sahara, request a room in the older Tunis Tower (this should almost
always be honored) and park in the west (closest to the Strip) parking
structure. The Tunis Tower elevators are just inside the doors from the
west parking structure, just to the south of the Business Service
Center.

The Tunis Tower is the oldest and smallest of the three Sahara towers.
I've been in there twice. Rooms are older and a bit smaller (usually)
than Alexandria or Tangiers, but not bad. For DLV 2001 I was in a large
corner room, not a suite but had a separate sitting and TV area, in the
Tunis Tower. Very nice, actually.

Yes, you can enter the east parking structure from Paradise and pass
thru to the west structure to park. Finding the passage will be an
exercise for the student. :)

I think we were in the Alexandria tower a couple of weeks ago...it's the
one over by the stage where that horrible band plays, where the Dodge
Viper is. We got a room in the "Hotels.com" section... right next to
the roller coaster, and when we turned the air conditioner on, there was
a howling wind noise through the door. Tony says that it was a good
room because we didn't spend much time in it. Hmm...
