Taxi Driver

I remember from a DLV 2002 general email, of a tg or t-friendly taxi
driver, and she was available for those attending DLV2002 if a DLV
attendee needed a more 'safe' or 'more comfortable/less fear' taxi ride
to and from DLV activities, esp in girl-mode.

I can't remember who this was, I need to check my old emails to get the
name, taxi company, and taxi number....or if anyone has that info easily
accessable (Annie?).

When I or someone else finds this info, or someone who already knows who
this is, could someone in LV check if she's still working as a taxi
driver, and if she is still open for those who might need a taxi for DLV
2003?

And, if she is, how do we contact her specifically to arrange a ride
with her (and not another taxi driver from the same company),
considering the sensitivity/fear level for some attendees in girl mode
who may need a taxi to go to a DLV event, or a ride back to their hotel
room.

This went out in the final "War And Peace" mailing under the heading of
"making contact" but I don't know if the information is still accurate
so I don't want to simply cut-paste it here or send it out in this
year's final mailing unless we verify it.

Please post the info here only if you know it to be current.

If nobody local responds to this, I'll make a query on the org list for
somebody to please verify that she is still working for the same company
and will be on duty during DLV.

Samantha and I made a specific request for this driver last year, but
she did not get sent. The company said they do not do that. If you
can send me the information, I will check around to see if she is still
working here and maybe make some arrangements.

If I'm not mistaken.... Glamour Boutique has limo tours/rides... that
could be an alternative
