The Final Attendee Information:

This coming week, most likely Wednesday or Thursday, we will be
releasing the Final Attendee Information for Diva Las Vegas 2023.

Everyone who is signed up to attend will receive a notice when this is
ready, plus a copy of URL to the Attendee Information Portal, where the
Final Attendee Information may be accessed.

Some of the more notable items in the Final Attendee Information are:

* The Bare Minimum - Quick-Start Guide to Diva Las Vegas

* Late Notices - Changes - Updates

* Contact Information

* Maps And Schedules - Current desktop and mobile versions.

* What to do in case something is wrong

* Directions to various functions and locations

Signing up for optional activities (or simply submitting a blank
Activity Sign-Up screen) reconfirms your intent to attend. If you
have already signed up for activities, this does not apply to you.

If you are registered but do not wish to do any of the optional
activities, please reconfirm your attendance by replying to any of the
Activity Sign-Up messages with a brief note that you will be
participating.

This will help us out by letting us know to expect you, and will help
you by stopping the nagging reminders.

Deadlines and Cutoffs:

(In no particular order)

General registration for Diva Las Vegas 2023 will close on Thursday,
October 19, at 8:00am Pacific Time.

Activity Sign-Up will also close on Thursday at 8:00am Pacific Time.
All activity sign-ups and changes after that time will need to be made
in person with the appropriate Activity Coordinators, who will be listed
(most with phone numbers) on most versions of the final schedule.

In order to be seated with the DLV group for the Friday, October 27
performance of Vegas The Show, your tickets must be purchased by Friday,
October 20, using the link on the Activity Sign-Up screen. Tickets may
then be picked up at the Will-Call desk at the V Theater.

Sunday, October 22 is the deadline for payment for Golf. Payment
instructions are on the Activity Sign-Up screen.

Tuesday, October 24, 9:45pm Pacific Time is the deadline for payment for
the Limo Tour. This may be paid at the Tuesday Bahama Breeze activities
or other times and locations noted on the Activity Sign-Up screen.

We strongly suggest that all DLV 2023 attendees sign up for DLV Group
Text!

This will be our primary means for making important announcements and
spreading the word about what is happening while the event is in
progress.

You can sign up for DLV Group Text for your mobile phone (most North
American carriers supported) or your email or both.

This year you will have the option of receiving only official DLV
announcements or receiving all messages sent by other DLV Group Text
subscribers.

You will also have the option to redact the display of your phone number
(or email address) from the DLV Group Text messages that you send.

You can sign up for group text and set the options described above
either on the Activity Sign-Up screen or by using the Communication
Options on your Attendee Information Portal.

DLV Group Text will become active on Sunday morning, October 22 and
will remain active through Sunday, October 29.

There will be a brief test message sent to all DLV Group Text
subscribers during the afternoon of Sunday, October 22. If you are
subscribed to DLV Group Text and do not receive this by 6:00pm Pacific
Time on Sunday, October 22 at the very latest, please let us know.

If you have any questions or concerns about DLV Group Text, or if you
have any difficulty subscribing, please let us know. Just reply to any

Please be sure to use a current schedule:

To avoid any confusion, misunderstandings, and disappointments, please
be sure that you use a current and accurate schedule of our event.

For the past two years we've had individuals use outdated schedules and
ended up making needless trips and/or missing out on things.

Final accurate schedules will be contained in the Final Attendee
Information.

There are several versions of our schedule, and all versions contain the
same information.

If you are confused over which version of the schedule to use, please
use the Simple Complete Schedule for desktop devices and laptops and
tablets, or the Mobile Schedule for mobile devices.

Most versions of the schedule allow you to "drill down" to detailed
individual activity information and venue/location information,
including map links.

If you have any questions or concerns about anything involving our
schedules, please let us know.

Activity Highlight - Speakeasy Light Lunch on Monday:

MeeShell writes:

I want to share a little more info on the "light" lunch option at the
Mob Museum Speakeasy.

This is envisioned as a pre-tour meet up for drinks and "bar" style
appetizers prior to touring the Mob Museum.

Even if you're not interested in the Mob Museum tour, you are still more
than welcome to come and socialize and imbibe in the bill of fare. The
Speakeasy is a great little place. Although it's not a large venue, it
should accommodate our group just fine.

They do not take reservations, per se, but I will try to be there early
enough to stake out a larger table for our group.

The museum tour is of the self-paced variety, so those wishing to tour
can move upstairs at their leisure.

(If you can keep a secret) The speakeasy entrance is at the bottom of
the stairs on the southeast side of the building. You will need a
"password" to enter the Speakeasy premises.

We will be sending out the current password via DLV Group Text on
Monday morning, October 23.

If you try to enter the Speakeasy without the password, to show a little
leg and bat an eyelash to convince the doorperson to let you in. (It is
also available on-line.) Please don't be concerned, however, the
password is just a for-fun diversion and not a barrier to entry.

I'm really looking forward to see you all back in the roaring twenties.

headcount. You are welcome to participate whether or not you signed up
at Activity Sign-Up time.
