Welcome to Diva Las Vegas:

Welcome to those who recently registered or recently joined the mailing
list. If you have any questions or concerns, please let us know, just
reply to this mailing.

Diva Las Vegas 2023 is only four weeks away!

Everyone is getting excited and we thank our 2023 volunteers, who have
put together a great schedule of activities this year!

The next big step is Activity Sign-Up. Details below.

As of this Friday morning, we have 137 individuals signed up to attend.
This includes 14 SOs.

YES, there is still time to get in on DLV 2023, but you will need to
act.

You will need to be registered by next Friday, September 29, to get in
on the first round of Activity Sign-Up. You can register on line here:

Activity Sign-Up in one week:

There are close to 80 line-item activities on our schedule this year!

Most of these are "No sign-up, just show up" in nature, meaning that all
you need to do to participate in them is show up at the proper place and
time.

There are some activities, however, 33 this year, that will need some
kind of a sign-up, a headcount, additional action, etc., if you wish to
participate.

We take care of these at Activity Sign-Up time, which will begin on or
about October 1, which is only a week away!

On or about October 1, everyone who is registered for DLV 2023 will
receive an email announcing that Activity Sign-Up is ready, and a
personalized link to get things going.

If you registered for DLV 2023 on or before Friday, September 29, and
do not receive your invitation to sign up for optional activities by
Monday, October 2 at the very latest, please let us know. You can email
us at dlv@divalas.vegas or simply reply to any of these mailings.

This takes only a few minutes to complete.

If you change your mind on anything, in most cases you can simply go
back to your Activity Sign-Up screen and modify your selections.

What you need to do:

If you have never attended DLV before and will be doing a "cold start"
this year, here are the steps that you need to do if you want to
participate.

1. Read our web site carefully. Please be sure that you know what we
are and what we are not. Look around in the Previous Years' Gallery
for photos of what you can expect at this year's event. Be sure to
note all of the smiling faces.

2. Register for the event. You can register on line here:

Registration takes only a minute or so. There is no charge to register.

3. Book your travel and accommodations (if needed).

Discount DLV rates are available to DLV 2023 attendees at The Linq, which

Activity Highlight - Vegas, The Show:

On Friday, October 27, at 7:00pm, we will be taking in the performance
of "Vegas, The Show", in the V Theater at Planet Hollywood.

Vegas, The Show, is described as a nostalgic look at the history of
entertainment in Las Vegas, featuring impressions of many of the
headliners which graced the stages of lounges and showrooms over the
decades.

It features song, dance, comedy, and variety, and brings back the era of
the iconic Las Vegas production show extravaganzas.

Diva Las Vegas attendees will have reserved seats in the VIP Center
Section of the theater.

Discount group rate tickets are available for DLV attendees for $79
(plus taxes and fees).

Please look for the Final Attendee Information during the week leading
up to the big event.

When you get to Las Vegas, you can meet the group at any activity on our
schedule that you find of interest.

You can check in and get your name tags during the DLV On-Site Check-In
at the Linq on Sunday or Tuesday, at most evening activities on Sunday
or Tuesday, or any activity having "Check-In Available" and/or "Name
Tags Available" on the final schedule.

To be sure that you get the latest information and any important
announcements, please be sure that you sign up for the DLV Group Text
via email or smart phone (most carriers supported). You can do this at
Activity Sign-Up time or from the link in the Final Attendee
Information.

This year you will have two "levels" of DLV Group Text from which to
choose:

1. Announcements Only, in which you will receive only official
announcements from the DLV organizers.

2. All Messages in which you will receive all DLV Text messages from all
subscribing attendees, plus will be able to send DLV Text messages to
other subscribing attendees.

You will also have the option to redact your phone number (or email)
from any DLV Group Text messages that you send out.
