Latest Diva Las Vegas 2023 updates:

Welcome to those who just registered or just joined the list. If you
have any questions or concerns, please let us know. Simply reply to
this mailing if you need anything.

As of Friday morning we have 105 individuals signed up to attend. Since
we still have almost three months before the big event, it's still much
too early for any kind of a final headcount projection. However, the
pace of registrations is similar to what we've seen in all post-Covid
years.

Our next big milestone will be Activity Sign-Up, which will begin on or
about October 1. Further details on Activity Sign-Up will be posted as
the date approaches.

Big Sister Program:

Our Big Sister Program was established in 2001 and has become one of our
shining stars!

Big Sisters are DLV volunteers who have expressed the desire to help
those who are new or unsure. They are matched one-to-one with attendees
who desire the assistance of a companion and mentor.

If you are a new attendee, there are two ways to request a Big Sister:

1. Fill out the Big Sister Request form via the appropriate link on your
Attendee Information Portal. This is the URL that you received shortly
after you registered for DLV 2023.

2. E-mail our Big Sister Team at: bigsister@divalas.vegas

After you request a Big Sister, a member of our Big Sister Team will get
back to you shortly.

If you are a returning attendee, please consider volunteering to be a
Big Sister.

The most important qualification for being a Big Sister is the desire to
help others!

The best way to volunteer is to fill out the Big Sister Volunteer form
using the appropriate link on the Attendee Information Portal, which is
the URL you received shortly after you registered.

Alternatively you may e-mail bigsister@divalas.vegas to volunteer.

During DLV 2023, we will again have our Big Sister Hotline which will be
available at any reasonable hour during the event.

Our Big Sister Hotline (number available in the Final Attendee
Information) will be answered by a member of the Big Sister Team and
this can be used during the event should you require the assistance of a
Big Sister.

Discount hotel rooms for DLV 2023:

There are still a few rooms at the Linq available through our 2023 group
rate program. First come, first served. When these are booked, that's
it for 2023!

To book your room at the Linq under the DLV 2023 rate plan, please use

In the event you have any difficulty booking your room, please email
dlv@divalas.vegas and Cami will assist you.

PLEASE NOTE: If you choose to phone in your reservation to the main Linq
reservation number in lieu of using the link above, you will be charged
a US$15.00 "Convenience Fee" in addition to the price of your room.

Wig survey:

Please take the Creative Wigs Survey if you have not done so already.

Creative Wigs, a vendor which has attended DLV most years since 2014,
would like some feedback regarding our attendees' preferences and
interests in the services to be offered and the topics to be covered
in an in-person presentation.

Diva Las Vegas has never charged a registration fee as most other TG and
CD events do.

There are, however, some unreimbursed expenses encountered by some of
our volunteers and those come out of their pockets.

Please consider helping us defray these costs by making a modest
donation.
