These are private tours. Small planes, Piper/Cessna. Operated by our
very own DLV flight crew.

I'm sure Densie will comment more on this.

Hi Diane and all,

I've just decided that come hell or highwater that I will be in Las
Vegas to provide Air-Tours thursday and Friday morning. I may not be
able to stay much longer, but I'll be there.

We fly out of Henderson airport, which is 8 miles south of the strip.
It is a public Airport and as such there are lots of Japanese tourists
around, but who cares. I fly all of the trips in Gina mode, and as a
matter of fact, don't get out of Gina mode until I leave LV. There has
never been a problem, the staff at the airport is even getting used to
me.

I'll be there at the Wednesday night event to arrange the times for
everybody.

It's good to hear from you! Look forward to seeing you again this year.

Tony and I went to NLV airport a couple of months ago and the Beech 99's
were up there. Tony said that they were tearing Henderson apart,
expanding it or something. I'll make sure that it's still open...the
worst that could happen is that we would have to fly out of North Las
Vegas instead.

Air tours are on no matter what. In the past two years we never had a
problem taking everyone who wanted to go (biggest problem was people
sleeping in and not making it). I'm sure that everyone who wants to
(and is willing to get out of bed) will be able to do it this year.

Skydiving, however, we'll probably give it a miss again.

Umm... what? Who?

Gina will bring a Cessna 182 and Tony and I will be bringing a Piper
Cherokee 160. Both seat four, but the 182 carries more weight, so we
usually take two passengers in the Piper and three in the Cessna.

Only DLV people will be going. Dress is as you prefer, but high heels
and floophie dresses aren't recommended. It's best to go real casual on
this one and save the evening gowns and rubber lingerie for later. ;)

The tour lasts about an hour and goes over Hoover Dam and into the west
rim of the Grand Canyon. Cameras are permitted and encouraged... maybe
we'll even remember to clean the windows.

And, most important of all, this activity is entirely at your own risk.
You have to agree to hold us harmless for any injuries, deaths,
dismemberments, disembowelments, incontinence, brain damage, emotional
trauma, stains from spilled drinks, etc...
