Diva Las Vegas is just three weeks away!

Our volunteers have put together a great slate of activities for the
upcoming event.

We are looking forward to seeing everyone in person in only a few weeks.

Activity Sign-Up starts October 1:

Tomorrow, October 1, everyone who registered on or before Friday will
receive their invitation to sign up for optional activities.

If you registered by last Friday and do not receive this by Sunday
evening at the very latest, please write in and let us know. You may
email dlv@divalas.vegas or simply reply to any of these mailings.

Those who registered after Friday can expect their Activity Sign-Up
invitations toward the end of the coming week.

Most of our activities require no further action to participate, however
a number of them require such things as a sign-up, a headcount, a
reservation, a ticket purchase, a pre-payment, or other action.

We take care of all of this at Activity Sign-Up time, which starts
tomorrow.

All you need to do is to visit the link that will be included in the
Activity Sign-Up email, then click on the green "Activity Sign-Up"
button, go through the list and select the optional activities that you
would like to do.

If you have any questions about Activity Sign-Up, if anything does not
appear to be working properly, if anything is confusing to you, etc.,
just let us know and you will get a prompt and courteous response. Just
email dlv@divalas.vegas or simply reply to any of these mailings.

Activity Highlight - Art Tour:

The Art Tour for Diva Las Vegas 2023 will happen at 2:00pm on Thursday,
October 26.

We will be going to the Animazing Gallery in the Venetian, Grand Canal
Shops Suite 2245.

This gallery was started by Nicholas Leone in 1984 when he admitted he
loved animation and illustration art.

>From Charles Shultz (Peanuts), Dr. Seuss and Chuck Jones (Bugs Bunny)
to more contemporary artists, this commercial gallery gives the visitor
a broad overview of this underappreciated branch of art.

Look through the artists featured in the various Animazing galleries and
you may discover something that inspires you.

There is no admission charge!

The Venetian is an easy walk from the Linq and other nearby hotels north
on the Las Vegas Strip.

Name Tags:

A Diva Las Vegas name tag lets everyone know that you are part of the
group, and tells everyone (or reminds everyone) of your name.

We will be printing name tags for those who need them at several of
the DLV activities, beginning on Sunday, October 22.

One thing that will be really helpful to you and the volunteers is if
you can print your name tags before you come, on your home or office
printer. This will help everyone save time and materials and will give
you a head start on things.

For Diva Las Vegas you will have these options for your name tag(s):

1. Print your name tag(s) in advance and bring them with you. Tag
holders will be available at no charge if you need them.

2. Have your name tag(s) printed at any activity marked "Name Tags
Available" in the notes on the final schedule.

3. Bring a previous year's DLV name tag with you. (Once a valid DLV
name tag, always a valid DLV name tag.) Again, tag holders will be
available if you need them.

Printing your name tag is easy. Simply go to your Attendee Information
Portal (the link that you were sent shortly after you registered and
will be sent to you in your Activity Sign-Up invitation) and select the
green "Generate Name Tag" button.

You can then use your browser's PRINT function to print your name tag(s)
on your home or office printer.

Name tag images for those for those who registered on or before Friday
will be ready at Activity Sign-Up time.

If you are talking about the regular golf on Thursday of DLV week, we have 9 people signed up for it so far.

Yes Annie, I guess I should have been more specific.
I am travelling from australia and will have to work out how to pay for the fees (I have seen the instructions for the paypal account) and also lining up the rental clubs. Will I have to visit or contact the club separately to sort out rental clubs?
I have only played DLV golf once before in '14 but am keen to do it again

I am not a golfer, but if I am correct the club always has a selection of clubs for rent.

You might phone them to be sure when you get Stateside. The phone number should be on the final schedule.
