Hi.
Katie here.
This is how to get to Katies Koffee Korner.


Where?

Starbucks Coffee shop in the Flamingo Hotel.

I will be there each morning from 8 AM until approximately 9 AM.


Hi Girls and Boys.
Here are simple directions on how to get to the Cafe where we will be holding the coffee mornings on Tuesday,  Wednesday and Thursday.

If you are arriving by car. 
1). From the parking garage, Go to the main level of The Flamingo and down the escalator and you will see a Starbucks Cafe on your right as soon as you exit the stairs. We will either be seated inside if it is cooler or outside by the fire pit if it is warmer. (Remember it will be October so bring a coat or a sweater) 

2). If you use Valet parking.
Go up the escalator and walk towards the boutique mall, The Starbucks Cafe will be on your right immediately after you exit the stairs.

3). If you are staying at the Flamingo.
From facing the hotel check in desks. Look to your left and you will see a boutique mall with gift stores.
Walk along past the Flamingo gift store  (which is on your left) till' you get to the **INDIGO TOWER ELEVATORS** which will be on your right..
The Starbucks Cafe is directly across from the elevator hallway.

Please respect others and dress appropriately for a ladies gathering.
If you are not an early riser and want to come in boy mode please feel free to do so but I would rather you be dressed as normal women would for coffee with a friend.

Hi Katie,
I am a morning person, and really looking forward to coffee with you and the girls. I would also like to make the Morning Walk With Julie at 7:30. Do you know if it’s possible to make both on the same day?

Julie's morning walk starts at 7:30. Maybe Julie will post here letting us know how long the walks will be. Katie's Koffee is usually an hour, from 8 till 9, so I would think that you should be able to come back from the walk and join the ladies for social time.

To Jen and Bev and anyone who might have read this.

Unfortunately I have cancelled my reservation and flight to Vegas because the epidemic seems to be getting on the verge of being out of control again due to the stubbornness of some who would rather die in agony fighting to breathe than take a vaccination which is free. **The mind Boggles**.

Adding to that, I am not enthused in the least about having to wear a mask in a Casino after I have spent a bit of time perfecting a makeup job, Heck I might as well not apply any makeup at all if I have to run around like someone in a John Wayne western movie in a desert sandstorm.

This obviously means that there will not be a coffee gathering each day for this years D L V unless someone else decides to take up the slack .


I will miss hostessing this as I have been doing it for quite a few years now and each year without exception I met someone new at morning coffee and it was always a relaxing fun way to start my day and hopefully theirs too..
