In town Mar 11 & 12

I will be visiting Las Vegas for the 1st time March 11 & 12 and read Terry's thread ( In town Dec 1&2) with interest. My trip is midweek March 11&12. (Facebook at Lorielarks; lorielarks@hotmail) All the opinions on Terry's thread designated Paris as my place to be. Resos there already. Comments stated it was feeling OK to be out & about in that area. I'm very tall and won't pass well. I'm debating a make-over session with Julie-was it great? good? Also the bare escentials beauty store.......I'd like tips on makeup, but do pretty well by myself. The other alternative is to call in an Avon person. Recommendations on this topic are very welcome! " Franks Diva Las Vegas" might be in my cards....is Frank's definitely a 'no-miss''? Any other mid-week drag shows worthy?

I'll make a quick suggestion on the makeup. Your choice is between going out to a store (or specialty shop), or having someone come to work with you. There are many options either way you go. If you go to a store, I suggest you prep as usual with shaving & etc. and apply tinted moisturizer as a minimum. There are many options to hire a MU artist to come to your room and help/ teach you look Fab! Vegas has many choices, so search for MU artist for Hire & etc. and not limit your options. When I first started going out, I hired a MU artist each time. I had mixed experiences with some being great and others just so-so (one stood me up). They wanted to charge (2X) for teaching me their artistry. Of course, going out to the store has its challenges, as well. DLV has great experiences with Bare Escentuals so they are on our green light list.
